O Brasil atingiu neste sábado (19) 28.167.587 pessoas infectadas com o novo coronavírus desde o início da pandemia. Foram 108.725 novos diagnósticos positivos em 24 horas.

O total de mortes causadas em decorrência de complicações associadas à covid-19 chegou a 643.880. Entre ontem e hoje, foram notificadas 851 mortes.

A quantidade de casos em acompanhamento de covid-19 está em 2.573.925. O termo é dado para designar casos notificados nos últimos 14 dias que não tiveram alta nem evoluíram para morte.

Ainda há 3.105 mortes em investigação. Os óbitos em investigação ocorrem pelo fato de haver casos em que o paciente faleceu, mas a investigação se a causa foi covid-19 ainda demandar exames e procedimentos posteriores.

Até hoje, 24.949.782 pessoas se recuperaram da covid-19. O número corresponde a 88,6% dos infectados desde o início da pandemia.

Estados

Segundo o balanço do Ministério da Saúde, no topo do ranking de estados com mais mortes por covid-19 registradas até o momento estão São Paulo (163.134), Rio de Janeiro (71.278), Minas Gerais (58.995), Paraná (42040) e Rio Grande do Sul (37.882).

Já os estados com menos óbitos resultantes da pandemia são Acre (1.953), Amapá (2.097), Roraima (2.124), Tocantins (4.086) e Sergipe (6.210).

Vacinação

Os últimos dados divulgados pelo Ministério da Saúde apontam que foram aplicadas 379,2 milhões de doses de vacinas contra a covid-19, sendo 170,8 milhões com a primeira dose e 155,4 milhões com a segunda dose ou dose única. Outros 47,8 milhões já receberam a dose de reforço. (AgBr)
